Position Summary

Monmouth University is seeking applications for a 1st Assistant Field Hockey Coach in the Athletics department.

The candidate would be expected to: act as the recruiting coordinator and travel coordinator; perform scouting and film break down; evaluate potential student-athletes, building communication with specific group of recruits, including phone calls, campus visits and transcript evaluation; assume a specific role in practice and game settings; be present for all weight training, conditioning sessions, team meetings and practice time throughout the fall and spring seasons; oversee individual player skill development.

College playing or coaching experience at the Division I level and/or international playing or coaching experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Knowledge of a film breaking system.
