Position Summary

Monmouth University is seeking applications for a full-time Multimedia Specialist in the Information Operations department.

Candidates must have the ability to work a flexible schedule that will primarily include evenings and weekends.

The candidate would be expected to: provide technical support for the evening operations of Media Operations, which includes interactive multimedia classrooms, satellite downlink, video-teleconferencing, audio/video, digital and analog, web-based media and event support; assist in scheduling, delivering, and arranging pickup of equipment for instructional classrooms and special event/meeting use; perform repair and maintenance of equipment.

Must have a technical school certificate or equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities. Must be a self-starter with the ability to develop creative solutions in a team-oriented environment.

Must have the ability to supervise live event audio and video needs, including wireless microphone systems, audio consoles, amplifiers, video/data projectors, video cameras, laptop computers, and other audio visual equipment.

Ability to work a flexible schedule that will primarily include evenings and weekends.
