Position Summary

The Nursing Department at Monmouth University is seeking applications for a Specialist Professor, PL-BSN Coordinator. This opening is for the 2018-2019 academic year and is a one year initial appointment subject to subsequent multi-year reappointments without limit.

The candidate would be expected to: teach 9 credits per semester (12 credits with a 3 credit course load reduction); serve on University committees; maintain disciplinary currency; advise students.

Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) or higher. Licensed or eligible for licensure as a registered nurse in the State of New Jersey.

Five years of experience in clinical practice.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience teaching undergraduate nursing students. Record of professional contributions to the nursing discipline. Working knowledge of the commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accreditation requirements or related accrediting body. Familiarity with New Jersey State Board of Nursing regulations.
