Position Summary

Monmouth University’s Speech-Language Pathology program seeks a Director for the Center for Speech and Language Disorders. This full-time position requires a detail-oriented, thoughtful, and dynamic individual who will be responsible for overseeing the onsite Center at Monmouth University.

Other Requirements

Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.

Three years of professional experience in clinical supervision and/or clinical education.

Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP). New Jersey license-eligible as a speech-language pathologist.

Willingness to travel locally on a regular basis.

Duty

Oversee the daily clinical operations of the onsite Center for Speech and Language Disorders.

Oversee and train adjunct clinical supervisors at the Center for Speech and Language Disorders and train clinical practicum students during their on-site clinical rotation in the Center.

Develop and maintain the onsite clinic schedule for the Center for Speech and Language Disorders. Develop client base and maintain waiting list for new clients. Develop referral sources for new client base.

Teach clinically related courses and coordinate clinical education activities such as screenings and clinical seminars for the Center for Speech and Language Disorders.

Direct supervision of students and clients in the Center for Speech and Language Disorders.

Manage and maintain all clinically related supplies and materials for the onsite Center for Speech and Language Disorders.
