Position Summary

Monmouth University is seeking applications for On-Call Secretary. Scheduled assignments are made through the Human Resources department.

The candidate would be expected to: perform a variety of administrative and secretarial duties in support of the assigned department.

Required Skills or Software Basic Knowledge of MS Word 2013, Basic Knowledge of MS Excel 2013, On-line Records System, Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, Must be able to treat confidential and sensitive information appropriately, Must be able to operate a variety of office equipment

Provides a high level of customer service to employees and external candidates both in person and by phone. Direct and/or provide appropriate information to visitors to the department.

Schedule appointments and make other necessary arrangements for meetings, conferences, and other events, and providing administrator with reminders of scheduled activities and deadlines.

Perform data entry and scanning of documents as required.
