Position Summary

The Department of Communication at Monmouth University, a private teaching university on the Jersey Shore, seeks a qualified adjunct for a part-time graduate level teaching position in the area of New/Digital Media, Interactive Multimedia, and Web Design.

The person selected for this position must have earned a MFA or Ph.D. in Digital Communications, Design, or a related field. This faculty member must be versed in standard graphic software packages in order to teach graduate students advanced level digital media skills (audio, video, and web design) while also challenging students intellectually and conceptually.

Specializations in filmmaking, animation, sound production, web design, and new media are preferable.

Applicants with experience at institutions focused on the liberal arts and with prior professional and college level teaching and media services experience, as well as those with knowledge of relevant interactive design fields are strongly encouraged to apply.
