Five years of progressively responsible experience in career counseling, human resources, recruiting or a highly-relevant area sufficient to obtain the skills and knowledge base needed to teach the elements of the class.

Concentration in Business, Human Resources, or other related field.

Duty

Teach a one credit course designed to help students prepare to compete successfully in the job market. Topics covered include resume writing, interview skills, job search strategies, business etiquette, internet job search methods, cover letters and relevant written and electronic correspondence; using employment services, etc.

Track class attendance.

Assign grades, projects, assignments and relevant work to students and enter grade information into the University computer system.
